Dr Schlosshan is a consultant cardiologist with a special interest in the non-invasive assessment of the heart using advanced cardiac imaging techniques. With expertise in heart valve disease, Dr Schlosshan is one of the leading Imaging Cardiologists in Yorkshire with regional and national reputation and is the clinical lead for advanced cardiac imaging of one of the largest cardiac centres in the UK.

Under his leadership, Dr Schlosshan developed one of the largest and modern echocardiography departments in the UK and founded one of the largest specialist heart valve clinics in the UK, looking after patients with heart valve disease.

Dr Schlosshan is a leading member of the specialist valve team at the Leeds General Infirmary providing advanced imaging for patients with heart valve disease and guiding novel heart valve procedures such as transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) and Mitraclip.
